The 3M™ Mercury Organic Vapor or Chlorine Acid Gas Cartridge 6009S helps provide protection against mercury vapor, chlorine, sulfur dioxide, and certain particulates in a variety of environments. It may be used for vapor concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces.
NIOSH approved for protection against mercury vapor, chlorine, sulfur dioxide, and particulates. Designed with a swept-back shape for enhanced field of view and comfort, the cartridge is compatible with 3M™ Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series with bayonet filter holders.
Equipped with a Passive End-of-Service-Life Indicator (ESLI) for mercury vapor, the cartridge signals when replacement is required. Simple installation and usage minimize training needs, making it a reliable choice across multiple industries including chemicals, mining, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and primary metals.
